.Giant Squid: These colossal creatures live in the deep sea, and are the largest invertebrate on Earth, growing up to 46 feet long! They are rarely seen alive, and much about their behavior remains unknown.

.Goblin Shark: This frightening looking shark is a living fossil, with a lineage dating back over 125 million years. They have long snouts with rows of protruding teeth and live in the deep sea, at depths of 270 to 1,300 meters (890 to 4,265 ft). Little is known about their behavior.

.Blobfish: This deep-sea fish looks like a gelatinous blob out of water, but that's because its body is adapted to withstand the immense pressure of the deep ocean. They don't have swim bladders and rely on being slightly less dense than water to float. They are also not muscular and drift along the ocean floor, scavenging for food.

.Armored Pangolin: The only mammal covered in scales, pangolins are nocturnal insectivores found in Africa and Asia. They are sadly the most trafficked mammal in the world, hunted for their scales, which are used in traditional medicine (though there is no scientific evidence to support this).

.Thresher Shark: This large pelagic shark has a long, whip-like tail that it uses to stun prey. They are solitary and not much is known about their behavior.
